milestones!

for those of you who bowl... I just hit a "first". my first 500 series! I know it doesn't seem like much, but I've never been a consistent bowler, until das really got me into it (and got me a new curving bowling ball for my birthday this year). I've been doing much better the past few weeks (in this new non-sanctioned league) and I'm really excited about it!! :)

on a side note, I got an email today about a woman's rugby league that started up in bristol. sounds promising... I loved rugby when I played back in school. I quit initially because I had to have surgery, but then I never got back into it. I very much enjoyed it... so maybe I'll look into it. hm... rugby playing quilters... I could start a new yahoo group or something. :D
